I walked through the doors of Adult & Teen Challenge on March 5, 2020. I was a wreck, completely broken in every aspect of my life. I struggled with alcohol for a long time to cope with abandonment and loss from childhood all the way to adulthood. I drank to deal with infidelity in a marriage, my grandfather's passing, and my father leaving when I was a child. 

I went to five secular rehabs and within a month of completing each one I relapsed. I went to my final detox in February 2020 in Brattleboro, VT, drank for a few more days and an angel of a woman sat next to my mother in a bar and told her about Adult & Teen Challenge Vermont. Today I know that God was in that bar room to save my life, proof that He is EVERYWHERE. I came in and fully surrendered, finally learning that the answer is Jesus!

Since I graduated, I got my driver's license back and married the woman that God hand-picked for me, Desiree, on January 1, 2022. Today I couldn't have asked for a better life. Thank you, Jesus, for everything You've done for me, my wife, and the men and women in this ministry.
