Metric Century riders will follow fuchsia colored route arrows

This metric century ride(100km,63.4mi+-) will take you on a beautiful tour of the Vt countryside and you will pass through the heart of the slate country of both VT and NY. There is some climbing but except for a short steep climb near the end there is nothing that a reasonably experienced rider cannot enjoy. Note to riders: you don't ride in VT and avoid hills! The last rest stop is at the Slate Valley Museum in Granville, NY. Take some time to visit the museum and then fuel up. The only steep, nasty climb awaits you but it is short. Just before you cry 'UNCLE' you'll be up. The ride back into Middletown Springs is fast and exhilarating! Now enjoy some a scrumptious hot lunch/dinner-you earned it!
