Some information about Tour de Slate teams

In keeping with our goal of providing you with the most enjoyable cycling event possible while also raising funds for to help Teen Challenge Vt., here are some  helps about the team functions.

  • Building a team with your friends is a great way to add to the 'fun factor' of your ride.

  • Team members register at reduced cost of only $55.00

  • Team features are designed to aid you in fund raising.
                                                When you hit the 'register' menu button you will be taken to a page  explaining our fundraising incentives.
  • A team must have a team leader. In addition to the leader the team can have 2 to 4 riders so that the maximum size of the team is five.

Note: If you have more people that want to ride in your team, why not form two teams and add some friendly fundraising competition. Just a few over five? Contact us at info@tourdeslate.org and we'll help. Our fund raising incentives include free jerseys at our expense so we need to be sure that we maximize the gain. Remember that this is a fund raising event.

Tour de Slate, Inc. isn't rated by charity watch groups, but we estimate our rating based on their formulas. With no paid employees, our volunteer-run event keeps expenses below 10% of gross revenue and a donation cost ratio under 1%, giving us a highly efficient rating.
